Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion and integrations for a remote LATAM role. You will design connectors, ingest pipelines, and collaborates with customers to implement scalable, secure data solutions across cloud environments.

You will combine data engineering, software engineering, solution architecture, and cloud infrastructure to deliver high-impact cybersecurity data platforms. Network with enterprise clients and contribute to product improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related experience.
• Strong software development experience with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, networks, endpoints, apps, and SIEMs.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and security requirements.
• Participate in onboarding, discovery, architecture design, and deployment processes.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing high-volume data like security logs and identity activity.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services primarily with Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store and transform data.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
