Darwoft invites a Senior Data Engineer to join a data ingestion-focused role for a cybersecurity platform. You will ingest data from enterprise sources, design connectors, and collaborate with customers to ensure scalable, secure data flows.

The position is 100% remote in LATAM, with strong emphasis on collaboration with cross-functional teams and delivering production-ready solutions in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data/platf orm engineering or related experience.
• Strong software development experience with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines or integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong CI/CD practices and Git workflows.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into pragmatic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, security requirements, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding from discovery to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data such as security events, logs, and identity activity.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and containerized services with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
