Job summary

Darwoft in LATAM is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and connectors for a cybersecurity identity platform. You will bridge customers and engineering, designing scalable ingestion pipelines across cloud environments, collecting events, logs, and identity data.

The role is fully remote, with LATAM coverage; you will work with enterprise clients, implement reliable pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value quickly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and connectors.
• Strong API design and consumption.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Customer-facing collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand environments and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume security data.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, events, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Use SQL and NoSQL databases to store and analyze data.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues.
• Optimize ingestion performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
• Act as trusted advisor on data architectures, security integrations, and implementation best practices.
• Identify recurring requirements and translate to reusable connectors.
• Contribute insights to the product roadmap.
• Support production adoption and time-to-value.
• Participate in occasional customer-facing technical sessions.
