Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Identity Security/Cybersecurity platform team in a 100% remote LATAM role. You will design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines, connectors, and ingestion services for enterprise environments.

You will work closely with customers to understand data sources and security requirements, build robust integrations using Python and Go, and partner with architecture, product, and engineering to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, data, or platform engineering roles.
• Proven Python and Go development experience.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Production cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• CI/CD practices and Git workflows.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including IdPs, cloud platforms, SASE, network infrastructure, endpoints, SIEM.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Deploy and onboard production deployments from discovery to production.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Operate Docker and Kubernetes-based containerized services.
• Deploy across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues across layers.
• Improve ingestion performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with solution architects, sales, CS, product, and engineering.
• Act as trusted advisor on data architecture and security integrations.
• Identify recurring requirements to reusable connectors.
• Contribute insights to product roadmap.
• Support production adoption and time-to-value.
• Participate in occasional customer-facing sessions and onsite engagements.
