Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to bridge customers and engineering. You will design scalable ingestion mechanisms, work with cloud platforms, and ensure secure, reliable data flows across enterprise environments.

You will build and evolve connectors, ingestions, and pipelines while collaborating with customers and product teams to improve time-to-value and platform capabilities in a 100% remote LATAM setting.

Qualifications

• ,10+ years of professional software/data engineering or related experience.
• Strong Python and Go development experience.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and connectors.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge.
• Hands-on with REST APIs and integration projects.
• Customer-facing collaboration and solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, security requirements, and integration constraints.
• Participate in technical onboarding processes from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data sources like events, logs, and telemetry.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage, transformation, and querying.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot complex customer deployment issues across multiple layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Act as a technical advisor on data architecture, collection strategies, and security integrations.
• Identify recurring requirements and convert them into reusable connectors or platform improvements.
• Contribute insights to the product roadmap and support time-to-value for customers.
• Participate in occasional customer-facing technical sessions and onsite engagements.
