AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain HR data pipelines and models in Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow. You will design semantic layers for BI and AI agents, and enhance agentic querying with Cortex or MCP tooling.

The role emphasizes secure handling of large-scale HR data, real-time processing, and orchestration across a cloud environment with AWS services. Remote/office flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Snowflake data modeling and data warehouse design experience.
• DBT for transformations and Python for scripting.
• Airflow orchestration and REST API integration required.
• Strong SQL skills with optimized queries and BigQuery knowledge.
• Secure handling of large-scale, sensitive HR data and real-time processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python.
• Build infrastructure for extraction, transformation and loading with Terraform and AWS tools.
• Maintain 99.5% uptime and ensure data quality across pipelines.
• Design semantic views and ontologies over dbt models for BI and AI use.
• Develop and deploy AI agents for HR data querying via Snowflake Cortex or similar.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling.
