Endava is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain HR data pipelines and semantic models in Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow. You will design layers that enable BI tools and AI agents to access HR data, with Cortex/MCP tooling as a plus.

The role emphasizes secure data handling, real-time processing, and collaboration with enterprise clients. Strong SQL and documentation are essential, along with upper-intermediate English.

• 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• Snowflake data modeling and data warehouse design.
• DBT for data transformations.
• Python programming.
• Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• REST API integration and data ingestion.
• Google BigQuery querying and optimization.
• Secure handling of large-scale and sensitive data.
• Real-time data processing.
• Strong SQL, including highly optimized queries.
• Comprehensive documentation skills.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python for HR data sources.
• Build ingestion and transformation pipelines using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS technologies (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Identify and implement process improvements, develop tests in the Data Quality Framework, monitor pipelines for uptime, and maintain data models.
• Design semantic views and ontology layers on top of dbt models to make HR data consumable by BI tools and AI agents.
• Develop and deploy AI agents (Snowflake Cortex Analyst/Search) for HR COE use cases enabling natural-language querying over certified HR data.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling for secure data exposure to interfaces.
