Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain HR data pipelines and models in Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow. You will design semantic layers for BI and AI consumption, and enhance Cortex-based querying capabilities.

Strong experience with Snowflake data modeling, DBT transformations, Python scripting, and real-time processing is required. Remote-friendly with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling, datamarts, and data warehouse design.
• Proficiency in DBT for transformations and Python scripting.
• Strong SQL with highly optimized queries and real-time data processing.
• Experience with Airflow for orchestration and REST API data ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines for HR data sources.
• Build infrastructure and tooling for ETL/ELT using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS technologies.
• Ensure 99.5% uptime and monitor pipelines, implement data quality tests.
• Design semantic views and ontology layers on top of dbt models for BI/AI consumption.
• Deploy AI agents using Snowflake Cortex Analyst/ Cortex Search for HR data querying.
