AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain pipelines behind a centralized HR data warehouse. You will work with Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow to design semantic layers that enable HR data to be consumed by BI tools and AI agents.

Must-have skills include Snowflake data modeling, DBT transformations, Python, Airflow, REST API ingestion, and strong SQL. Nice-to-haves include Snowflake Cortex or MCP tooling and LLM-oriented data exposure.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Experience with Snowflake data modeling, datamarts, and warehouse design.
• Proficiency in DBT data transformations.
• Strong Python skills for data scripting and OO programming.
• Experience with Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• Solid SQL skills with highly optimized queries.
• Experience with REST API data ingestion and integration.
• Knowledge of Google BigQuery querying and optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines using DBT, PySpark, and Python within a cloud environment for HR data sources.
• Build infrastructure for ETL from multiple sources using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Monitor pipelines to maintain high uptime and ensure data quality frameworks are followed.
• Create semantic views and ontology layers on top of dbt models for BI and AI consumption.
• Develop AI agents and ML tooling integrations for HR data use cases.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling for secure data exposure.
