Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking an experienced Product Support Engineer in Córdoba, Argentina, to provide advanced software technical support to enterprise customers. This role requires strong Linux command line skills, expertise in troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced cloud environment.

You'll interact with Account Managers, SEs, Customer Success Managers, and Professional Services to resolve complex issues and improve product knowledge base content.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in a Technical Support role
• Excellent written and verbal customer-facing communication skills
• Experience with Linux command line environments
• Advanced use of grep, regex, log scraping in command line
• Fully experienced with email system debugging
• Fully experienced using remote hosting tools for customer troubleshooting sessions
• Experience with email/security products a plus
• With little supervision, the ability to debug broad, system environments of moderate complexity

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced software technical support to customers via phone and the ticketing system
• Manage cases in the ticketing system to ensure cases are handled within SLO guidelines
• Create and send out alerts and other customer communications as necessary
• Publish Knowledge Base articles for internal and customer use
• Review technical documentation for training materials and manuals
• Act as an SME to mentor lower-level Product Support Engineers
• Lead by example technically and professionally
