Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Product Support Engineer in Córdoba, Argentina. The role requires 4+ years in technical support, strong Linux command‑line skills, and experience with email system debugging.

You will work with customers, partners, and internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve documentation with knowledge base articles. You will interact with account managers and engineers to deliver high‑quality support in a fast‑paced cloud environment, contributing to Proofpoint's BRAVE

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a technical support role.
• Excellent written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
• Proficient with Linux command line environments.
• Advanced grep and log-scraping skills for troubleshooting.
• Experience with email system debugging.
• Experience with remote hosting tools for customer sessions.
• Familiarity with security products from Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Symantec, McAfee, Fortinet, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced software technical support to customers, resellers, and partners via phone and the ticketing system
• Manage cases to meet SLO guidelines
• Create and send alerts and other customer communications
• Publish Knowledge Base articles for internal and customer use
• Review technical documentation as SME for training materials
• Mentor lower-level Product Support Engineers and lead by example
