Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to own and improve cloud infrastructure for a regulated health data platform. The role requires 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps or SRE, strong AWS EKS/Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, and Terraform, plus excellent English communication.

You will work within a LatAm window, manage CI/CD pipelines, and drive reliability and incident responses. Responsibilities include operating AWS infrastructure, administering Kubernetes workloads, and mentoring engineers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong hands-on AWS production experience.
• Advanced Kubernetes and AWS EKS experience.
• Hands-on Argo Workflows administration/troubleshooting.
• Terraform and IaC expertise.
• CI/CD pipeline design and production release experience.
• Monitoring/logging/alerting tools experience.
• Root-cause analysis and incident improvement skills.
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm hours.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure (EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows.
• Define and improve IaC, config management, CI/CD and release practices.
• Lead observability improvements and alerting across platforms.
• Coordinate incident response and post-incident analysis.
• Implement reliability improvements and automated remediation.
• Track service metrics and SLA compliance.
• Maintain runbooks, procedures and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotation.
