Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role requires strong AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Argo Workflows, and Terraform experience, plus leadership in incident resolution and CI/CD practices.

Remote, LatAm-friendly window, on-call rotation and cross‑functional collaboration are included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience operating AWS in production.
• Advanced Kubernetes and Amazon EKS workload operations.
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows or equivalent workflow platforms.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and code-managed infrastructure.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Experience with monitoring/logging/alerting tools (Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty).
• Ability to lead incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Python, Shell, Bash or similar scripting languages.
• Excellent written and verbal English; able to coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm coverage window.
• Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure including EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows for deployment and recovery.
• Define and improve IaC, CI/CD, release execution, and environment consistency.
• Improve observability and link alerts to runbooks and evidence from tools.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis and post-incident actions.
• Design reliability improvements including auto-remediation and alert correlation.
• Track service metrics like availability, SLA, alert volumes, and MTTR.
• Enforce change-management, access control, secrets-management and auditability.
