AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

The role requires 5+ years of Cloud/DevOps/SRE experience, hands-on AWS EKS and Kubernetes, Argo Workflows administration, and strong English communication. Remote-friendly LatAm hours apply with on‑call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience operating AWS infrastructure in production.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, incl. workload ops and reliability.
• Hands-on admin of Argo Workflows or comparable orchestration platforms.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Git-based delivery.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and releases.
• Experience with monitoring and incident tooling (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows for deployments.
• Define and improve IaC standards using Terraform and Git workflows.
• Improve observability and alerting across infra and data workloads.
• Lead major incident response and post‑incident reviews.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive tasks.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA, deployments, MTTR.
• Apply change-management, access control, and auditability in regulated environments.
• Mentor mid‑level engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for critical incidents.
