AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

The role requires 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps/SRE, hands-on AWS and Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Terraform, and strong English communication. You will own the LatAm coverage window, oversee incidents, and advance CI/CD and observability practices across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on AWS production experience.
• Advanced Kubernetes/Amazon EKS experience.
• Experience administering Argo Workflows.
• Terraform IaC and Git-based workflows.
• CI/CD pipelines and production release experience.
• Monitoring/logging/alerting with Splunk, PagerDuty or similar.
• Root-cause analysis and preventive improvements.
• Python/Shell/Bash scripting.
• Ability to work with LatAm window and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate, maintain, and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows with deployment and monitoring.
• Define and improve standards for IaC, configuration, CI/CD, and environment consistency.
• Lead consolidation and improvement of observability across infra and data workloads.
• Improve alert routing and escalation workflows across tooling.
• Lead or support major incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive ops tasks.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA, alert volumes, and MTTR.
• Apply change-management, access-control, and auditability in regulated environment.
• Create and maintain runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote consistent execution.
