AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to own and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare setting.

You will lead complex incidents and elevate the reliability of AWS-based services. You will operate Kubernetes workloads, implement Terraform-based IaC, and drive automation across CI/CD and release processes with a focus on HIPAA/GDPR/FDA compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS production experience.
• Advanced Kubernetes and Amazon EKS experience.
• Administer Argo Workflows.
• Terraform IaC and Git-based delivery.
• CI/CD pipelines and production release experience.
• Monitoring and incident management with Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie.
• Automation using Python / Shell / Bash.
• Lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Strong English communication and LatAm availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm window and L2/L3 escalation.
• Operate, maintain, and improve AWS infra supporting Data Platform (EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows: deployment, monitoring, capacity, resiliency.
• Define and improve IaC standards with Terraform and Git delivery.
• Consolidate observability across infra and data workloads with Argo, dbt, Snowflake, runbooks.
• Improve alert routing across Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty, Teams, data platforms.
• Lead major incidents, root-cause analysis, post-incident reviews and actions.
• Design reliability improvements: auto-remediation, alert correlation, automation.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA adherence, deploy outcomes, MTTR.
• Apply change-management, access control, secrets, auditability in HIPAA/GDPR/FDA contexts.
• Create runbooks, procedures, architecture context, recovery docs.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote consistent practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents.
