Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and enhance the cloud infrastructure behind a regulated healthcare data platform.

You will own the LatAm coverage window, lead complex troubleshooting, and drive reliability improvements across AWS, Kubernetes, and Argo Workflows. The role requires 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps or SRE, strong English communication, and hands-on expertise with Terraform, CI/CD, and IaC practices in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience operating AWS infrastructure in production.
• Advanced Kubernetes and EKS experience including workload ops and observability.
• Hands-on Argo Workflows administration for production data workloads.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and source-controlled configurations.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting and incident management tools (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Ability to lead incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, Bash or similar scripting languages.
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with data/security stakeholders.
• Strong English communication and LatAm on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm coverage.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform (EKS, S3, EventBridge, etc.).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows with deployment and recovery.
• Define and improve standards for IaC, CI/CD, release execution and environments.
• Improve observability across infrastructure and data workloads with runbooks.
• Enhance alert routing and escalation across Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty and teams.
• Lead major incidents and post-incident reviews with stakeholders.
• Design reliability improvements like auto-remediation and automated workflows.
• Track service metrics such as availability, SLA, and deployment outcomes.
• Maintain HIPAA/GDPR/FDA-compliant governance, access and auditability.
