Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind a regulated healthcare data platform.

You will own AWS/EKS operations, Argo Workflows, and IaC pipelines, while leading incident response and driving reliability improvements. You will collaborate with Data, Security, Governance, Analytics, and client stakeholders, mentoring engineers and shaping CI/CD and observability across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Hands‑on AWS production experience, especially EKS.
• Advanced Kubernetes and EKS troubleshooting and workload operations.
• Argo Workflows administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Git‑based delivery.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and releases.
• Strong monitoring/logging/incident‑response skills with Splunk, PagerDuty, or similar.
• Ability to lead incident resolution and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Proficient scripting in Python, Shell, or Bash.
• Excellent written and spoken English; client‑facing communication.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate across data, security, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm coverage, incl. on‑call escalation.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform (EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows including deployment and monitoring.
• Define and improve IaC, configuration management, CI/CD, release processes and environments.
• Lead observability improvements linking alerts to operational evidence.
• Improve alert routing and escalation using Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty, and Teams.
• Lead incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLAs, alert volumes, deployment outcomes.
• Ensure change controls, access management, auditability in regulated environments.
• Create runbooks, procedures, architecture context, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Mentor mid‑level engineers and promote best practices across distributed team.
• Participate in LatAm on‑call rotations outside staffed hours.
