AgileEngine is hiring a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps/SRE, strong AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Terraform, and CI/CD are required.

You will lead incident resolution, bolster observability, and mentor engineers while working within LatAm hours. The role offers flexible remote/office options and USD-based compensation.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on experience operating AWS infrastructure in production.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Argo Workflows.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring/logging/alerting tools like Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie.
• Ability to lead incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, Bash for automation.
• Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strong English communication; LatAm time window availability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate, maintain, and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform.
• Administer Kubernetes-hosted workloads and Argo Workflows, including deployment and recovery.
• Define and improve standards for IaC, configuration, CI/CD using Terraform and Git-based delivery.
• Lead the consolidation of observability across infrastructure and data workloads.
• Improve alert routing and escalation workflows across tools like Splunk and PagerDuty.
• Lead or support major incident response with clear stakeholder communication.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Track service metrics and ensure SLA compliance.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote best practices.
