Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will own the Cloud/DevOps service during the LatAm window, manage AWS infrastructure, and drive reliability across Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps or SRE, strong Terraform and IaC practices, and hands-on experience with observability and incident management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS production experience.
• Kubernetes and EKS expertise with workload ops and reliability.
• Experience with Argo Workflows or similar.
• Infra as code with Terraform and git-based delivery.
• CI/CD pipelines and production release experience.
• Observability tooling like Splunk/PagerDuty/Opsgenie.
• Python/Shell scripting skills.
• Strong English communication; LatAm availability window.

Responsibilities

• Own Cloud/DevOps service during LatAm window, including day-to-day ops and L2/L3 escalation.
• Maintain and improve AWS data platform infrastructure (EKS, S3, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows; ensure capacity, resiliency.
• Define standards for IaC, CI/CD, and environment consistency using Terraform.
• Improve observability and link alerts to runbooks and evidence.
• Enhance alert routing across Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, and Teams.
• Lead major incidents, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Implement auto-remediation and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to service metrics and HIPAA/GDPR/FDA compliant processes.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
