Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will own the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm hours, oversee AWS/EKS workloads, and lead incident response with strong automation and IaC practices. Fluency in English and regulatory familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS in production, EKS & Kubernetes.
• Experience with Argo Workflows or similar.
• Terraform and IaC with source control.
• CI/CD pipelines, release processes, observability tools.
• Strong English communication; client-facing ability.
• Ability to lead incident resolution and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own Cloud/DevOps service tower for LatAm window, handle ops and escalations.
• Maintain AWS infra incl. EKS, S3, EventBridge, Lambda, API Gateway.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows; ensure reliability.
• Define IaC standards; manage CI/CD, releases, and environments.
• Improve observability; link alerts to runbooks and evidence.
• Refine alert routing and incident response; conduct post-incident reviews.
• Implement auto-remediation and automation of repetitive work.
• Track metrics like availability, SLA, and deployment outcomes.
• Ensure HIPAA/GDPR/FDA control compliance and auditability.
• Mentor engineers; support on-call rotation and knowledge transfer.
