AgileEngine, LLC. seeks a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and scale the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare setting.

You will own AWS/EKS workloads, manage Argo Workflows, and advance IaC with Terraform, CI/CD, and robust observability. Strong English communication is essential for cross-team collaboration during LatAm hours and on-call rotations.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience operating AWS in production.
• Advanced Kubernetes and Amazon EKS operations including workload management and observability.
• Hands-on Argo Workflows administration and troubleshooting.
• Terraform-based IaC and source-controlled infrastructure practices.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and production releases.

Aufgaben

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm hours, including L2/L3 escalation.
• Operate, maintain, and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform (EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows with deployment, monitoring, and recovery.
• Define and improve IaC, configuration management, and delivery practices using Terraform and Git workflows.
• Lead observability improvements, correlating alerts with runbooks and platform events.
• Improve alert routing and escalation across Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty, and Teams.
• Contribute to major incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Design reliability improvements like auto-remediation and dependency-aware alerting.
• Track service metrics including availability, SLA compliance, and mean time to restore.
• Follow HIPAA/GDPR/FDA regulatory practices for change-management and access control.
• Create runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials; mentor mid-level engineers.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents outside staffed hours.
