AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role emphasizes ownership of AWS/EKS, Argo Workflows, IaC with Terraform, and strong incident management.

Excellent English communication is required to collaborate with global stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps or SRE, hands-on AWS/EKS expertise, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD pipeline

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS EKS and Kubernetes.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Argo Workflows.
• Proficiency with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring/logging/incident tools (e.g., Splunk, PagerDuty).
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work with client stakeholders.
• Ability to lead incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure including EKS, S3, EventBridge, API Gateway.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Define and improve IaC standards using Terraform and Git workflows.
• Improve observability across infra and data workloads with runbooks.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews with clear communication.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Track service metrics like availability and deployment outcomes.
• Apply change-management, access-control, and audit practices in regulated environments.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to knowledge transfer.
