Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build regression tests, integrate into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), investigate failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testability and overall quality.

Able to work in a hybrid setup with flexible schedules, with 4+ years of QA automation experience and expertise in Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and AI-assisted QA

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and pass/fail conditions.
• Identify and elevate risks to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure quality across SDLC and releases.
• Participate in on-call rotation and CI/CD integration.
