Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer responsible for desktop and mobile test automation, in addition to manual testing to ensure quality across products. The role emphasizes building robust regression suites, integrating tests into CI/CD, and collaborating with engineering and product teams.

You will leverage Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and AI-assisted QA, with remote and office flexibility. Strong written/verbal communication and a passion for holistic quality are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• 4+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic Skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and test results.
• Identify risk to quality and elevate issues to the team.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality through SDLC and releases.
• Work with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimation of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
