Job summary

Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation, while also performing manual testing for our apps. The role emphasizes building reliable tests, integrating with CI/CD, and ensuring high-quality releases across platforms.

You will work with cutting-edge fintech products in a fully remote, international team, contributing to AI-powered QA processes and testing on real devices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
