Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will join a global fintech platform supporting digital asset services and a fast-growing product suite.

You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions), investigate failures, and collaborate with developers on testability and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop or web and WebDriverIO + Appium for mobile
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android devices
• Experience using AI tools in QA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites
