Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated testing for desktop and mobile applications while also performing manual testing to ensure robust quality across our fintech platforms.

You will build regression automation, integrate tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve test strategies. This role offers remote work with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Provide clear bug reports and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, product and QA teams to improve testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
