Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own the desktop and mobile testing for our innovative fintech platform. You will drive automated test suites while performing manual and exploratory testing to ensure robustness across products.

You will build and maintain automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), investigate failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testability and acceptance criteria. Remote-ready role with global teams.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on experience with desktop and mobile test automation tools.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
