Job summary
AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing, with strong automation experience and hands-on manual testing. You will build regression automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with product and development teams to improve testability and coverage.
Remote/office flexible work model offered, with opportunities to work on AI-powered QA initiatives.
Qualifications
- 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual/exploratory testing.
- Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Strong automation for desktop/web (Playwright) and mobile (WebdriverIO + Appium).
- Experience testing Electron and React Native apps, including real devices.
- Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their outputs.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
- Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage test data and environments.
- Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
- Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
- Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
