AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation while also performing manual validation. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testability.

The role emphasizes hands-on automated testing, exploratory testing, and applying AI-assisted QA to enhance reliability across desktop and mobile apps, with flexible remote/office options and competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and test results.
• Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to improve testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to aid planning.
