AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build regression scripts, run diverse test types, and document results while collaborating across product and customer-facing teams to improve quality.

The role emphasizes AI tool usage in QA and hands-on testing on real devices, with flexible remote/office options and competitive USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.
• Knowledge of AI QA tools and evaluating outputs.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.

Responsabilités

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails and correlate failures to bugs.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Work with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
