Job summary

Darwoft, a Latin American tech company, seeks a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to own architectural decisions in an AI-native environment. You will work on a modern M&A SaaS platform, using Claude Code, Codex, and other AI agents to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.

The role is fully remote across LATAM as a contractor, with strong emphasis on building scalable, production-grade software and collaborating with product leadership on strategic technical decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and operating production software systems (production-grade).
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.

Responsibilities

• Navigate, understand, and evolve a large existing production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural and system design decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt, risks, reliability issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
