Darwoft in LATAM is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join a remote-first, AI-native development approach. You will navigate a large codebase, design capabilities, and push for reliability while using AI coding agents to accelerate delivery.

You will work on an AI-native transaction platform for M&A workflow, leveraging Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and other agents. This role emphasizes architecture, reliability, and production-focused software.

Formación

• Production software systems experience.
• Strong architecture, design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex codebases.
• Backend or full-stack with modern languages & frameworks.
• Experience building web apps and SaaS products.
• APIs, data modeling, distributed systems knowledge.
• Relational databases and production data environments.
• Automated testing and modern development practices.
• Cloud, CI/CD, deployments, production operations.
• Ability to reason about trade-offs and own decisions.
• Independent work style with product-driven focus.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify debt, risks, and reliability issues.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot to accelerate delivery.
• Explore codebases, design implementations, and refactor production code.
• Build backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the stack when needed.
• Strengthen testing, observability, reliability, and production readiness.
• Improve workflows, tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across layers.
• Balance speed with long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into tech solutions.
• Increase development leverage via AI-assisted engineering.
