Darwoft is partnering with an innovative software company to build a modern AI-native transaction platform for complex M&A workflows. You’ll join as a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, combining strong software fundamentals with AI-assisted development.

This remote-first role welcomes applicants anywhere in LATAM, with a 100% remote, contractor engagement paid in USD. You’ll leverage Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, and AI agents to dramatically accelerate delivery while maintaining

Qualifikationen

• Production software systems experience.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, design, debugging, testing and maintainability.
• Experience with large/complex codebases.
• Backend or full-stack with modern languages and SaaS products.

Aufgaben

• Navigate, understand, and evolve a large existing production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural and system design decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt, risks, and reliability issues.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI coding agents extensively.
• Leverage AI agents to explore codebases, generate/refactor code, test, and accelerate delivery.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the application stack when needed.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows, tooling, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across app, data, and infra layers.
• Balance speed with quality and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into solutions.
• Help a small team achieve greater leverage through AI-assisted engineering.
