Darwoft is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native, CLAUDE-CODE powered workflow. You will navigate a large production codebase, design scalable systems, and drive architecture decisions for a modern M&A SaaS platform. This is a fully remote LATAM opportunity with a contractor engagement and USD compensation.

The role emphasizes engineering excellence, AI-assisted development, and strong ownership in a fast‑moving product environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and operating production software systems.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals including architecture and design.
• Experience working with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full‑stack engineering using modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience with APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Navigate, understand, and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt, risks, and reliability issues.
• Use AI coding agents extensively throughout development lifecycle.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the application stack and improve testing and observability.
