Darwoft is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer (AI-Native/Claude Code/Codex) to work remotely anywhere in LATAM on a modern transaction platform for M&A workflows. You will build production software, navigate a large codebase, and guide architectural decisions while leveraging AI-coding agents to accelerate delivery.

The role emphasizes strong engineering judgment, ownership, and product-minded problem solving in a remote-first culture with ongoing learning and high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full‑stack experience with modern languages & frameworks.
• Experience building modern web apps and SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt, risks, reliability issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Leverage Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI coding agents extensively.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the stack when needed.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows, tooling, and automation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across layers.
• Balance speed with quality and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate business problems into tech solutions.
• Help the team achieve greater development leverage through AI-assisted engineering.
