Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to work remotely from LATAM on an AI-native platform for LegalTech/M&A. You will join a fast-moving, contractor-ready team solving complex problems with Claude Code, Codex and other AI agents integrated into the development workflow.

The role focuses on production software, architectural decisions, and delivering high-quality deployments across a large codebase, with emphasis on reliability, testing, and velocity.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack development using modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience building SaaS products and APIs; understanding distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large existing production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify tech debt, risks and reliability issues for improvement.
• Use AI coding agents extensively to generate and refactor production code and tests.
• Build and evolve backend services, data models, and workflows.
• Collaborate across the stack and improve tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
