Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer (AI-Native) to join a LATAM-based, 100% remote team. This contractor role emphasizes architectural leadership, production-grade software, and leveraging AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate delivery across a modern SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• Production software experience required.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Strong backend or full-stack experience.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and CI/CD.
• AI-native development experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify debt, risks, and reliability issues.
• Use AI coding agents extensively in development.
• Build and evolve backend services and data models.
• Improve testing, observability, and deployment readiness.
