Darwoft in LATAM is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join an AI-native SaaS platform focused on AI-Native LegalTech / M&A workflows. This fully remote role leverages Claude Code, Codex, and other AI agents to accelerate development.

You will own architecture, navigate a large codebase, and build production software in a fast-moving environment with a strong product focus and a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• Strong production software engineering experience and ownership of large systems.
• Excellent fundamentals: architecture, design, debugging, testing, maintainability.
• Experience with large/complex existing codebases and SaaS products.
• Backend or full-stack with modern languages/frameworks and APIs.
• Understand distributed systems and production data environments.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as scale grows.
• Identify debt, risks, reliability issues, and improvements.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI agents throughout development.
• Automate tests, improve tooling, and accelerate delivery.
• Contribute across the stack and ensure production readiness.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into technical solutions.
