Job summary

Darwoft is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native, Claude Code–driven development approach. You’ll work on a modern transaction platform, navigate a large codebase, and shape architecture with AI-assisted tooling in a fully remote LATAM setting.

You’ll lead production software design, partner with product leadership, and drive reliability, testing, and deployment practices while building high-leverage systems as part of a small, empowered team.

Qualifications

• Production software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture and design.
• Experience handling large, complex codebases.
• Backend or full-stack development with SaaS exposure.
• Knowledge of APIs and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across the platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions at scale.
• Leverage AI coding agents to accelerate delivery.
• Build backend services, APIs, and data models.
• Work across the stack and contribute to tooling and automation.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into solutions.
