Job summary

Darwoft, a Latin American software company, is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to build production systems in an AI-native environment. You will design, implement, and evolve a large SaaS platform, leveraging Claude Code, Codex and other AI tools to accelerate delivery.

You will own architectural decisions, work across the stack, and collaborate with product leadership to deliver scalable solutions for multi-location clients, while maintaining high reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and operating production software systems.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals: architecture, design, debugging, testing, maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full‑stack experience with modern web apps and SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues and drive improvements.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, and other AI agents extensively in development.
