Job summary

Darwoft is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native, Claude Code/Codex-driven development approach. You will work on a modern transaction platform for M&A with a remote LATAM-first team.

You’ll own architectural decisions, navigate a large codebase, and push production readiness using AI coding agents. You’ll collaborate with product leadership, maintain high standards for reliability, testing, and maintainability, and contribute across the stack in a fast-growing,

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack engineering with modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience with APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Navigate, understand, and evolve a large existing production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural and system design decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues; drive improvements.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI agents extensively.
• Leverage AI agents to explore codebases, implement designs, refactor code, and accelerate delivery.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the stack and improve testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows, tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across app, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Balance speed with long-term maintainability and quality.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Help a small team achieve greater development leverage via AI-assisted engineering.
