Job summary

Darwoft is hiring a Senior/Staff Software Engineer (AI-native/Claude Code/Codex) to lead engineering of a modern M&A SaaS platform. The role focuses on production software, architecture, and reliability, with extensive use of AI coding agents to accelerate delivery.

You’ll join a remote-first, LATAM-centric team and contribute across backend, APIs, data models, and workflows while balancing speed and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and operating production software systems.
• Excellent software engineering fundamentals including architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.

Responsibilities

• Navigate large, existing production codebases and evolve them.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural and system design decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues and propose improvements.
• Use AI coding agents extensively throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, integrations, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the application stack when needed.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, reliability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows, tooling, and automation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
