Proofpoint Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to own reliability, automation, and data pipeline delivery across AWS-first infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and data tooling for analytics teams.

You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and security, designing scalable infrastructure, implementing observability, enforcing security best practices, and mentoring junior engineers to advance resilient platforms.

Competenze

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with at least 2 years in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation/CDK.
• Hands-on with AWS data services: Glue, Athena, and S3 lifecycle, encryption, and events.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Strong CI/CD experience across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalents.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS/Kubernetes).
• Design and operate observability: metrics, logs, tracing, and alerting.
• Clear communication translating ops needs into engineering trade-offs.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and promotion of data infra.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using IaC (Terraform and/or CDK).
• Own the observability stack for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
• Develop and maintain the DataOps platform and reusable templates.
• Manage container and compute infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, or Lambda).
• Design and operate workflow orchestration environments (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Drive security best practices across the data platform and access controls.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture decisions.
