Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking a Senior Accountant to own complete accounting for a portfolio of growing clients. You will work remotely with international founders, CFOs and finance teams to deliver accurate month-end closes and robust reporting.

The role emphasizes understanding the business behind the numbers, solving issues, and taking ownership in a fast-paced environment. CPA is a plus and Big Four experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficient in English with clients and senior finance peers.
• Big Four experience is a must for this role.
• CPA designation or active CPA pursuit is a plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Taxprep or CaseWare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping, including reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR and month-end close
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reporting
• Supporting year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work
• Working directly with clients to resolve accounting questions and issues
• Keeping client deliverables moving and communicating when something needs attention
• Finding ways to improve processes, systems and the way we work
• Supporting financial analysis and other client projects as they come up
