Job summary

Convoy Finance in Argentina is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of growing companies for international clients, including founders and CFOs. You’ll own the accounting process end-to-end and provide proactive insights beyond the numbers.

The role emphasizes understanding the business behind the numbers, strong communication in English, and ownership mindset. Remote-friendly, with opportunities to grow into more complex advisory work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Own full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting for multiple clients with deadlines.
• Excellent English communication with clients and senior finance professionals.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Taxprep or CaseWare; public accounting, SaaS, fintech or Web3 experience a plus.
• CPA designation or active CPA pursuit is a plus; Big Four experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of growing companies.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work.
• Work directly with clients to resolve accounting questions and issues.
• Keep deliverables moving and escalate attention needs as required.
• Identify and implement process improvements and system updates.
• Support financial analysis and other client projects as they arise.
