Wallbit is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to deliver specialized assistance on US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll. The role demands strong accounting judgment, clear communication, and the ability to investigate and resolve complex inquiries.

Remote from Argentina, you will cover 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET windows with staggered US-hours overlap, and you will work across proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows to support customers efficiently.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Experience in bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex accounting and tax topics to nontechnical customers and adapt to a tech-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated and directly assigned accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions within scope.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings clearly via Zendesk, email-style responses, and scheduled phone support.
• Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to workflow/knowledge improvements.
• Learn and work with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
