Job summary

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. This role requires genuine technical accounting judgment and the ability to independently investigate and resolve issues with strong communication skills and a track record in tax matters.

The position is remote from Argentina and requires coverage during US business hours.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Ability to explain complex accounting and tax topics to nontechnical customers.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries, tax notices, and customer-facing financial support.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, and filing status questions; tax return questions within scope.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings via Zendesk, email-style responses, and scheduled phone support.
• Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, coordinate with internal specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
• Learn and work with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
