Vivant is seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. The position requires working across a remote setup with coverage for US business hours. CPA or EA is highly desirable, and experience with Big Four environments is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated professional accounting experience, ideally with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, account reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to explain complex topics to non-technical customers.
• Ability to handle complex tax and accounting inquiries with independence and sound judgment.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions within scope.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate findings via Zendesk, email-style responses, and scheduled phone support; maintain accurate records.
